Dance is the only thing I have
Before, I explain about how to be a good dancer, I want to share you some boring stuff about myself which might be related with some of you. I know that I am a good dancer. To be honest, I am a victim of wasting my time on internet. Like most of the people I am also the victim of being lazy person of this planet. Most of the time I just lie down in my bed all day and watch Japanese anime like one piece, one punch ( I like one punch so much that I’ve watched it for more than 5 times), Parasite, Hollywood series, Indian movies. Usually, I just waste my time in this way. I was like this from my childhood. It has become a bad (not even bad but worst) habit of mine. When, I was a child I probably watched more than 1000’s of bollywood movies. However, even after all this laziness and my dark side, there is one reason which makes me happy from deep inside. I had so many bad habits but that one good habit is the reason I can really smile. And that reason is called dance. To be honest I am also not sure about how I become such a good dancer. But this thing really makes me feel proud.
Are you really interested to become a dancer?
Whenever my teacher or classmates ask about my hobby and interest, the first thing that comes into my mind is Dance. Actually, not the first thing but the only thing that I care about is dance. From my childhood, I gave first priority to dance. You don’t have to push yourselves to tell others that you like this and that. It just comes from your heart, mind soul and teeth (Sorry not teeth 😀 ). The surprising thing is that it all comes naturally without even realizing it. So, if you guys are reading this, then I suggest you to watch some of my videos(it sounds like I’m self promoting but I’m not 😀 ) and give yourself some time to figure out if you are really interested in dance or not. If you are crazy enough to be a dancer then you don’t have ask yourselves or others. Just watch some awesome dancing videos, give it some time and you will find out.
Make a habit of becoming a good dancer
After some time if you realize that you are really interested in dance. Use that interest to make a habit. As we all know that, in any field to achieve success we should put enormous effort and that is only possible through the habit. I make a habit by giving myself a 30 days challenge of dancing for 10 minutes every day. I never dance 30 for days continuously. However, I did not quit recording my activities. By doing this, I get to know about how many days I have dance out of 30 days. For example, if I dance for 10 days in total of 30 days then next time I try to do it for 11 days. Like I said before, I am very lazy and really hate to follow routine. But that is the only thing that is going to keep my fire alive. Funny thing is I was already a good dancer before I give myself these challenges. So, if I don’t do that then I don’t think I am going to achieve anything in my life.
Do not hesitate to dance
Whenever you get the chance to show your dance in front of others, just do it. Never feel shy or embarrass. I know and you know that you are going feel that way but trust me no one cares. The worst thing is they are going to tease you or laugh at you. But if you just try to give your best shot and make a habit of doing it regularly, eventually you will able to do the jaw dropping performance in from of the same guy who makes fun of you. Doing this, you will gain experience and it brings the confidence in your personality. I was very shy from my childhood and until grade 11 I never expose my dance in front of my friends. But because of that now I understand that I was going really backward. Steps and moves that we learn will look natural and cool only if we are confident enough. Dancing in front of others, especially in a public areas helps to improve your confidence in an effective way..
Learn, Learn and Learn
This is the most important point of becoming an awesome dancer. Always get ready for learning new steps and cool moves. No matter how many steps you master, never think that you learned everything about dance. Also, during the learning process you have to figure out your own fault by looking at the mirror or recording your steps and try to do it perfectly,, otherwise it is not going to look good even after you learn the step. If you can make a habit of doing the same thing again and again then I don’t have to tell anything. Your body moment will show the result itself. So, give up on thinking about give up and do it until your moves surprises all the people (including you :))
What should you do now?
Just move your lazy body from your bed, take a pen and a copy and make a routine of doing the same steps (choose the step that you are eager to learn) for 10 minutes for 30 days regularly. You may forget to breathe but don’t forget to follow your routine. And even if you forget to do it just do not forget to record it for the future evaluation. I don’t know if you can do it or not, you are the one who should be aware of that. But I really wish that you guys do your best. Otherwise, all of my time for writing these articles will not be valuable 😀
